We’re doing more and more historical wargame commissions! I’m quite pleased about that as I'm a fan of history. I waste no opportunity to lecture a painter about the history of a historical army or character they may be painting (in my defense, I keep these lectures a short as I can…).
Here are some Fireforge Mongols. The infantry and unarmored cavalry are from their excellent plastic range. They have good detail and many interesting components. However, the heads do sit funny on their necks. For many, we had to do a bit of surgery to keep them from staring up so much! Besides that, the kits are fantastic, and excellent value for money.
These were painted to Exhibition quality.
