Where is Sri Lanka?
Sri Lanka is an island south of India, right next to the equator. It is about the
side of England and Wales combined and is the world's biggest exporter of
tea.

Tourism is huge here and for 2005 Conde Nast Traveller magazine just
rated us the 11th best travel destination in the world and the Number One
"Best Value for Money Destination."

Is it safe to do business there?
We've had a long history of civil war and political conflict, but that hasn't
stopped the tourists or the cell phone companies. Life goes on, people work
hard, and the man watches over us.

Are you guys Wargamers?
Yes. Over half the studio plays Eldar and they even picked similar color
schemes, it's very annoying. The rest play Chaos. I'm the only person who
does anything original around here, and I get my ass kicked every time we
play. We used to play Mordheim but preferred 40k -- so now we play 40k
with Mordheim rules :) .

Who do you give donations to?
Sri Lankan Tsunami relief. Once we have a small bucket of money put
together, we're going to put the larger part into paying for housing and the
rest into buying supplies for people in the refugee camps. From previous
relief work my Dad and his friends have done, school books, pencils, and
shoes are popular.

What will you paint?
25 and 28mm are our strengths, the 15mm we paint is Flames of War. Our
strengths are mostly Warmachine and Warhammer, and we have begun
accepting orders for Confrontation. We
will paint 25-28mm moderns or
historicals if you can supply us with a painted sample mini to copy.

What won't you paint?
Anything smaller than 25mm EXCEPT Flames of War. If these are your
miniatures, then contact me and I will refer you to an excellent Sri Lankan
painting service that has a lot of experiece .

If I say you're an Indian, will you be mad at me?
Yes. At first glance Sri Lankans are indistinguishable from Indians. At
second glance, it becomes clear that we don't like being mistaken for
Indians. For this reason we have kinship with any other group of people
commonly mistaken for Indians - except for when they mistake us for Indians.

Why are you doing this?
Tiger Woods doesn't have to make his own clubs. Lance Armstrong doesn't
have to build his own bikes. Strongbad doesn't have to stitch his own boxing
mits. Should you have to paint your own miniatures?
Not if you don't want to.
